The 2012 VEPOA Board of Directors Officers have been elected. Jim Hudnall returns as President, Vicki Vaughn as Vice President, Bob Vacek as Treasurer, and Sue Frewin as Secretary. Please welcome new board members Carolyn James of Lombardy and Tarn Springob of Tuscany. We are so excited to welcome the new members to the board, and look forward to working with them. Also, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the board members who have served in the past.
There are numerous volunteer hours that these members have given to our neighborhood to make it the wonderful place it is to live. The board members do a lot of behind the scene work that goes unnoticed and unappreciated. We just want to say thank you and how much your hard work is appreciated.
2012 Board Members:

As you may have noticed, the new entrances have been built and are awaiting landscaping and lighting.
Suzanne Johnston has worked so hard on getting this project complete. There have been many hours of work on Suzanne’s part to have the entrances look nice for our neighborhood.
We want to say thank you for all the hard work you put into making our neighborhood beautiful!!!
Fishermen and non-fishermen, please mark your calendars for the annual Venetian Estates Fishing tournament and Picnic to be held on May 5th! (Please see insert.) This is such a great event which everyone of all ages can enjoy!
I have heard there is already some “friendly competition” started between last year’s fishermen! If you are not a fisherman, that’s okay. We still want you to come to the picnic that evening for some good food and great fish tales from the day.
Please bring a covered dish and Venetian Estates will provide the meat, tables and chairs.
The tournament will take place rain or shine! If you have any questions regarding the picnic, please call Vicki Vaughn, 713-557-2376. For questions regarding the fishing tournament, please call Al Clay, 281-494-4547. Please complete your entry form and return it to Al Clay.
Good luck to everyone!
